MEET THE CNO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

CNO BOARD SERVICE
We strive to maintain between eight to fourteen Board Members, who serve two-year terms. Board candidates are voted on by eligible CNO members during the annual General Membership meeting. However, you may nominate yourself at any time and attend one of our bi-monthly CNO Board Meetings.
Community members interested in advancing their candidacy for board service must complete a Board of Directors Nomination Form HERE, at least 5 business days prior to the annual General Membership meeting. Pleaser review the Role Description HERE before proceeding.

As of June 2025, after every CNO Board Meeting, we will strive to release the new minutes in a timely fashion.

Pardon our incomplete back catalog as we compile old minutes!
Serving as a Board Member means that you help direct the affairs of the organization, inform policies and procedures, and partner with the staff and key contractors in supporting the programs, events, and collaborations that enliven CNO’s work.

SAM is a comic artist and an encyclopedia of random animal facts. They also enjoy books, video games, and camping! They chose to serve because they thought they could offer some perspective as a queer, trans, mixed native disabled person on the Corcoran Board.
CHRIS is Wisconsin born. He has lived in Minnesota for the last 18 years, and he and his wife have lived in Corcoran for the past four years. He works in marketing for The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and likes to bike around the city trying to find the best burger in town!
MATT has called Corcoran home since 2012, where he resides with his partner, cats, and backyard chickens. In the daytime, Matt works for the Lake Street Council, supporting small businesses throughout the Lake Street corridor. He enjoys walking and biking to destinations in and outside of the neighborhood.
KATIE moved to Minneapolis with her wife in September 2023 and is passionate about building community and supporting their neighbors. Katie joined the CNO board because she wanted to get to know her neighbors and hear about the history of the neighborhood she know calls home.
TRENTON moved to the Corcoran neighborhood in 2018 after years living in Minneapolis. He’s a master electrician now finishing a psychology degree, with plans to shift into mental‑health work. He joined the CNO board after the organization’s park meetings helped him stay connected during the pandemic, and he wants to keep the neighborhood strong, equitable, and thriving for years to come.
SEAN  is a member of the bilingual block club and helps organize lively block parties that unite homeowners, renters, and participants in the Sky Without Limits co-operative. Drawing on years of experience with Minneapolis neighborhod groups, Sean strives to strengthen the organization and deepen ties among block clubs, renters, young families, and immigrant residents.
BENJAMIN  has lived in Corcoran for many years and values the community of friends and neighbors he’s built here. An avid gardener, cyclist, and co‑op developer, he supports CNO as a connector that strengthens bridges betwen people, organizations, and resources, helping to build a thriving, inclusive, and resilient neighborhood.
